Definition
King of Mycenae, son of Atreus, brother of Menelaus and husband of Clytemnestra. Agamemnon was the acknowledged leader of the Greeks at Troy; later murdered by his wife's lover, Aegisthus. See also: Trojan War; Wooden Horse; CassandraRelated Topics
