Definition
A son of Zeus and Europa, brother of Minos and Sarpedon. Rhadamanthys was brought up by Asterius of Crete after his mother married him. He became known as a man of great wisdom and as a lawgiver and, after his death, was allowed to live in Elysium. He became one of the judges of the dead.
