A-Z: General definitions: Improvisation theatre
Definition
A form of theatre (often called improv or impro) where most or all of what is performed is created ‘in the moment’. The dialogue, action, story and characters are created collaboratively (as a team) by the players as the improvisation unfolds in real time, without use of a written script.
