Definition
In Greek mythology, Telemachus was the son of Odysseus and was guided through life by the goddess Athene in the form of Mentor, one of Odysseus's friends.
King of Ithaca, an island in the Ionian Sea, and famous for his cunning; the story of his ten year journey home after the Trojan War is the subject of Homer's Odyssey. (Roman name Ulysses.)
Daughter of Zeus, Greek goddess of wisdom, patroness of the arts and of war (Roman name, Minerva.)
