Definition
Describes the parts of a church parallel to the nave (central area) or the choir and divided by columns or piers. Also used of the passages between rows of pews or chairs.

1. Group of singers who sing the service in a cathedral or church and / or lead a congregation in worship (chants, hymns etc).
