Definition
A poem addressed to a certain person, either living or dead, or to a certain object of veneration or praise. A Pindaric Ode is one modelled after the Greek poet Pindar, whose odes have complex thought and an irregular form.The giving of praise or worth to someone. Within the Roman Catholic Church, veneration is given to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the saints.
