Definition
In the New Testament a member of a group, living in part of Palestine, despised by Jews as 'foreigners'.
A 'testament' is a covenant (binding agreement), a term used in the Bible of God's relationship with his people. The New Testament is the second part of the Christian Bible. Its name comes from the new covenant or relationship with God.

2) Someone who belongs to the Jewish faith which believes in one God and the importance of Jewish Law.
