Definition
The traditional metre of a ballad with alternating lines of iambic tetrameter and trimeter.
Traditional poem or song, usually consisting of quatrains with abcb rhyme and iambic tetrameters.
A line containing four metrical feet each consisting of one stressed and one unstressed syllable.
A line of verse of three feet or stresses.
