Definition
Followers of the Swiss reformer John Calvin, and his theology. He founded a group of churches known as Reformed or Presbyterian churches, of which the Church of Scotland is one. There are no bishops, each church being governed by elders. There is an emphasis on the doctrines of grace and election.
