Definition
Sister of Aaron and half-sister of Moses, she accompanied them during the Exodus, leading the Israelites in worship after the Crossing of the Red Sea.
In the Old Testament the brother and spokesman of Moses who helped him confront Pharaoh and lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt.
