Definition
A long fiction, a prose narrative that is shaped into a long text, typically of more than 200 pages, through plot, characterisation, and setting.
One of the main divisions of literature, being a narrative prose genre.
In written text, the ordinary plain form of language, not organised into verse form. It is often contrasted with the term 'poetry'.
