Definition
In the New Testament the idea of a feast or banquet is used to symbolise the joy to be experienced in heaven.
The New Testament uses the image of a great feast to symbolise the celebration and blessings awaiting those entering heaven.
In many religions, the place where God dwells, and to which believers aspire after their death. Sometimes known as Paradise.
