Definition
Event described in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke in which Jesus is seen by Peter, James and John, revealed in glory and accompanied by Moses and Elijah.Gospel - Literally 'good news' - used of the message preached by Jesus recorded in the New Testament.
