Definition
(1859 - 1941) Emperor (Kaiser) of Germany and King of Prussia, ruling from 1888 to the end of the First World War in November 1918. During the First World War he was often referred to by English soldiers as ‘Kaiser Bill’.
A German title meaning Emperor. In WWI ‘the Kaiser’ referred to Wilhelm II.
